Sam Sverdloff - PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Sam completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2013 after studying a Bachelor of Human Movement and health sciences. He then went on to work at a well known private practice in Adelaide and worked closely with a large range of elite level sporting clubs and athletes, as well as orthopaedic patients at a small private hospital.
Sam worked with a SANFL football club, a state league Netball club, State Hockey team and the Australian University Rugby 7’s team among others.
His main areas of interest are pathologies of the shoulder and knee, along with tendon rehabilitation and management. Sports physiotherapy is also a favoured area after spending lots of time playing elite level sports himself. He also has significant experience in hydrotherapy and strength and conditioning.
After spending the majority of 2017 travelling around Australia, he found a new home in Katherine in the NT and has started working with Active Physiotherapy Katherine. He enjoys middle distance running, cycling and any team sport while not treating in the clinic.
